 We specialize in acupuncture, but our practice is not limited to it. The princial of our practice is to promote and stimulate the body's self healing ability with the least risk of interferring with the body's normal functions, to avoid side effects and to bring balance and harmony to the body's functions and to help the patient to recover from suffering. We believe that each person withing him/herself has the potential power of self healing and we want to maximize this ability to heal, or better yet to prevent dysfunction and disease. Acupuncture can provide quick, convenient and cost-wise way to relieve your symptoms with no side effects. It can help to reduce the usage of pain medications, along with other drugs too, even to avoid surgery. Today it has been widely used in the country, even in hospitals and medical centers. There are thosands of literature published on Med journals about acupuncture. We like to collaborate with you physicians, nurses, PTs, chiropractors, and other health professionals to work together. We use the following non-drug or herbal remedies as listed below:

We have saved many people from low back surgery ( laminectomy) or C-section. Patient usually come to our office as the last option. Our patients come from all over the State from the coast to the mountains.

I had severe lower back pain and numbness in my left leg for many months and get frustrated.  For relief
I was taking over 2400mg Ibuprofen daily before my 1st visit to Dr. Chen.  Even with that much medicine, I still have a lot of pain. After the first visit I have cut down Ibuprofento to 200mg  a day because I feel so much better. I waited a full week after the 2nd visit and have NO pain and have not taken any Ibuprofen. I am so glad I found Dr. Chen. He has made the pain go away so quickly and give me and my family life again.

I am 33 weeks pregnant, and my midwife just found out that my baby is in breach position, and they recommended me to try acupuncture and referred me to Dr. Chen.
